Day #2 Observation

I was very surprised to see the food pellet in my aquarium today.  It was the first thing I observed.  When I looked at it I was amazed to see my tank teeming with life!  There are hundreds of little micro organisms everywhere (not just on the food too).

An odd bubble like surrounding has developed around the food pellet, not unlike mold (although I can't be sure if that is what it really is).

First Day

The first day I created my micro aquarium. My water source was number 7, from which I also added dirt. I also put in both types of plants available to provide oxygen for my organisms.

Things I observed:

Many Cyclopse organisms
Two Larvae
A Nematode (I believe)

I also observed many smaller organisms that were either too fast or two small to identify.
